FAVE 5: Electronic wizards Lamalo share their top 5 up-and-coming Aussie artists!

All aboard the jungle train as electronic duo Lamalo join forces with multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Little Green for a bewitching new tune. Soaked in heady percussion, woozy flute samples and lustrous vocals, the pair's brand new track Jungle Train busts out unwavering levels of hypnotic melodics and sultry deep house cues that flexes a penchant for dynamic writing and infectious electronica from the Lamalo team (aka Michiya Nagai and Yossi Cascun) - as well as Little Green's effortless flair amongst the telluric backdrop.
Exploring themes of freedom and empowerment as well as the journey to self-discovery, Jungle Train is yet another flawless triumph for the polished Lamalo duo, well-versed in dipping into unique and engaging sonic textures beyond the expected fare. And before the duo drop their accompanying music video for their new tune in the very near future, today come get to know Lamalo's favourite Aussie up-and-coming bands, with everyone from fellow Sydney Con alumni to potential collabs coming soon! Check them out below!

COCONUT CREAM

A rad indie rock band that is absolutely killing it on the live scene. Their infectious hooks and breezy production have got us very excited for the next generation of indie rock in Sydney. We’re not the only ones to notice since they’ve already supported IVEY and Spacey Jane. They’re another band that has come out of the Sydney Con and their guitarist Oscar was actually Yossi’s student for a couple of years, making Coconut Cream a definite inclusion from us!
ANGE

Hailing from Barcelona, ANGE has been making a name for herself in the Sydney scene. A cool, soulful RnB singer, she has worked with Sydney artists such as Sonny Grin and Casper from Colour Castle. Having also worked at APRA AMCOS, ANGE has been making an impact on the wider Australian music scene. We may or may not have a song coming out with her soon but keep your eyes peeled anyway.
YUTO

Melbourne based duo Yuto. have been delivering chilled electronic soundwaves perfect for a Sunday arvo. The brothers are coming off an awesome year with big support from Spotify and Aussie radio. Their momentum
BRAYDEN SIBBALD

We first came across Brayden when we both released singles on The Kite String Tangle’s record label Exist Recordings. His unique sound combines smooth vocal layers and percussive electronic production. Although he lives across the country in Perth, we’re looking forward to collaborating with him!
MORNINGMAXWELL

If you haven’t heard of MorningMaxwell yet then give yourself a slap in the face. This legend from Melbourne has an unmistakeable groove to all of his tracks that we love. Add to this his pumping Instagram page, this guy will surely be one to watch! His track Take It in is a banger.
