THE FIFTH ANNUAL AUSTRALIAN MUSIC WEEK CONFERENCE IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE ITS FIRST ROUND OF PERFORMING ACTS, PANELS & SPEAKERS...AND WHAT A SIZZLING MIX OF MUSIC ARTISTS AND INDUSTRY PANELS IT IS TO KICK THINGS OFF AS THE CRONULLA BEACH SUMMER EVENT APPROACHES THIS NOVEMBER 6-10.
With 120+ emerging music acts set to take over Cronulla's venues and hotspots across the space of five days (including the Australian Music Week free open-air Beach Concert series which will conclude the festival on Sunday November 10), prepare to find your next musical crush amid a sea of talent.
But it won't just be all eyes on the stages, as AWM sets to continue its evolution by offering the introdction of its first Podcast festival, 20 music industry panels, the Sydney premiere of an 80 minute documentary detailing the rise of the iconic Tommy Emmanuel, and the announcement of 2019's Keynote Speaker Bob Lefsetz.
A U.S music industry legend, podcaster and author of the email newsletter The Lefsetz Letter, the Santa Monica-based Bob Lefsets is an industry analyst renowned for his passionate take on the music industry's state of play and many other issues, including streaming, ticketing and the music itself. Followed by the likes of Steven Tyler, Drake and Deadmau5 through to Quincy Jones and record company executives, Bob's wealth of knowledge within the industry guarantees an engaging and insightful talk - and whether you're an aspiring artist or industry delegate, this is one AMW session not to be missed.
