MUSIC NEWS: Isolation covers project 'Band Together' launches with a stellar homage to Incubus

With the world gone mad and the music industry in purgatory for the indefinite future, many around the globe have turned to live streams and virtual team-ups to fill the void, and as of yesterday another venture came to life with Band Together doing just what its name suggests - virtually teaming up band members from various projects to re-imagine a song together and share it with the world.
Launched by Sydney muso Matt New, Band Together's mission is (as its name suggests) to bring musicians together from all over the world to perform, record and film a cover that has a common resonance for those taking part - plus to bring some positivity, entertainment and comfort during these strange and uncertain times.
Kicking off its first ever episode just last night, Band Together launched in style with a stellar team up of founder Matt New (Code Atlantic, Painting Fires) on guitar, Jack Muzak, aka Jack Venables of Osaka Punch fame, on vocals, Chris Webber from Full Scale on drums and Jeremy Edwards from Scale Records on bass. And what better way to start proceedings than with the killer tune The Warmth taking all of us back to the late 90s, Incubus-style.
With more episodes already in the works, there's surely set to be something for everyone on the Band Together menu - but for now, come grab a gander at the lads smashing Incubus in devilishly delightful fashion:
