Ever wondered what goes down inside the tour van when your fave bands hit the road? Well today we're in for a treat with Aussie rock royalty The Getaway Plan and metalcore legends Dream on Dreamer exclusively sharing their tour van playlists for when they take off around the country for their 12 date national tour kicking off in February.
Gifting fans with an early Christmas present in December, The Getaway Plan and Dream On Dreamer’s massive co-headline tour announcement was quick to stoke the fires of excitement around the country. With over three million Spotify streams to their name, multiple ARIA and AIR Top 10 and 20 charting positions, The Getaway Plan have proved time and time again their status as one of Australia’s most beloved rock groups. The ARIA nominated Dream On Dreamer have also been elevating themselves off the back of Australian and international acclaim, refining what has become a fierce live energy off the back of their recent album It Comes And Goes, which amassed a staggering 9 million streams.

Tyler, The Creator - See You Again - Tyler has evolved so much since his inception. Being able to witness that has been amazing.
Roxette - Joyride - A massive feel good track. It’s got a whistling part, awesome lead guitar, crazy synths and a huge chorus. It’s the best of the 80’s and 90’s.
Nirvana - Breed - This is the ultimate grunge song. Simple, intense, short and sweet.
Steppenwolf - Magic Carpet Ride - Nothing like pretending for four and a half minutes that the van your driving is in fact a magic carpet. This song is a must for road trips!
Karnivool - Change - An incredible part of Karnivools masterpiece ‘Sound Awake’ musically Leaves you feeling you can take on the world!
D.D Dumbo - Satan - D.D Dumbo come out guns blazing, an incredible artist, but this track is major stand out!
Moreton - The Water - This is the song that got it all started for us with these guys, Brilliant.
Holy Holy - True Lovers - An incredibly uplifting tune. Pop, with so much musicality, the boys nailed it!

Don Broco - Come Out To LA - One of the more creative heavy albums, super catchy and probably the funnest jams going about in the genre. FFO good times and riffs
James Blake - Retrograde - Zach will put this on without question, it’s a good break from the loud nonsense we make at the show
Nearly Oratorio - Tin - Amazing synth production, been following the producer behind this group for a while now and he’s a very talented individual. If you like some experimental synth jams definitely check this out
Crystal Castles - Not In Love - Probably Marcel’s favourite, brings out the European in him. I think anyone that’s into electronic music has at least heard this jam, it’s an absolute classic
As Cities Burn - Timothy - Picture an emo jam mixed with blues… It’s got all the feels
Cub Sport - Come On Mess Me Up - Zach used to be in a band with Dan the drummer from Cub Sport, he also filled in for us on a Japan tour, he found out the day before we left and it was one of the funnest tours we’ve done. This song really kicked off their career, it’s such a jam
Frank Ocean - Nights - One of the best vocalists going around, his talent is a huge inspiration to us
Hands Like Houses - Monster - Some good friends of ours, some of the most legit dudes. Cal (our guitarist) actually helped out on a couple tracks off this album
Catfish and the Bottlemen - 7 - Have you seen this band live? Holy sheesh! Definitely a huge inspiration to a few of us in terms of being a solid live band. Highly suggest you try get to a show if they ever come through.
Nothing But Thieves - Sorry - This guys voice rips, the riffs rip, the band just straight up rips. One of the better rock bands floating around for sure. Oh yeah and the album rips.
