EXCLUSIVE: A journey through the incredible career of Trippie Redd - music video-style!

US rapper Trippie Redd is making his Australian debut this summer for Festival X - an Australian tour that will see him introduce not only himself, but his new record A Love Letter To You 4 to audiences for the first time.

To date, Trippie Redd has enjoyed a multitude of successes - we’re talking numerous gold records, chart busting numbers and an increasingly loyal fan base who has only intensified in between record releases.

Visually, Trippie has delivered impressively on the music video front. Having only broken through in 2017, the 20 year old rapper has not wasted any time in making sure his face and aesthetic is strong and well known. We take you through his journey so far in music videos, with the visual journey of Trippie Redd below for your viewing pleasure.

DARK KNIGHT DUMMO

The Travis Scott-featuring single has proven to be one of Trippie’s most successful to date. His highest charting single, ‘Dark Knight Dummo’ gets ghoulish quick, with director White Trash Tyler bringing a warped hip hop Walking Dead-esque situation to life.

TOPANGA

Directed by Kenneth Cappello and released last year, ‘Topanga’ came to fans on Trippie’s A Love Letter To You 3 record. Cultish visuals meet vintage colour grading, again with an added dash of Trippie’s now well known creepy aesthetic, which fans have seen in his other videos.

UNDER ENEMY ARMS

A sinister, snapping release from Trippie earlier this year came with ‘Under Enemy Arms’. Lyrically, it’s about a relationship breakdown, but the visuals flip it into a violent and action-packed sequence. Guns and flares galore.

MAC 10

Featuring Lil Baby and Lil Duke, Trippie’s 2019 release ‘Mac 10’ continues this mafioso, hedonistic theme we’ve seen across his video releases so far. The Scarface influence reigns supreme in this video, as we experience a life of dangerous luxury following the three rappers through the narrative.

LOVE ME MORE

The latest release from Trippie, and a great inclination of what is still to come on A Love Letter To You 4, is in ‘Love Me More’. A more emotional offering, we see the vulnerability of his lyricism on show, the visuals stripped back so the listener can really get around the core of the song.
