SINGLE REVIEW: Out Jumped The Devil/Set Me Free (THE HOLY ROLLERCOASTERS)

SINGLES: Out Jumped The Devil and Set Me Free ARTIST: The Holy Rollers

Buckle up, we're in for a funky ride with Brissie 8-piece The Holy Rollercoasters and their debut double singles 'Out Jumped The Devil' and 'Set Me Free'.

Recorded straight to tape in one day with the legendary Steve Robin at his one-of-a-kind recording studio The Barn and mastered by Grammy winning engineer William Bowden, both tracks from this electrifying octet dip and dive through an organic and dynamic gospel sound with a twist - a result that inevitably comes from thrusting together some sizzling jazz horns, a rhythm section packed with prog metal-heads, and a blues crooner on the mic.

'Out Jumped The Devil' slinks out with purring vocals, whirling organs and some crunchy guitars that steadily pumps along while lyrically following a tale of an evil man who ultimately meets bloody justice. Meanwhile behind door number two is the James Brown-esque jam 'Set Me', cranking up the tempo and busting out some dazzling gospel in pithy and punchy style.

Since coming to life in 2017, The Holy Rollercoasters certainly haven't coasted, rapidly expanding their repertoire, signing with boutique label Valley Heat Records, releasing their debut double single on vinyl - and releasing their first music video to top it all off!

The Holy Rollercoasters will be launching their debut release this Saturday 20th October at The Bearded Lady. But in the meantime you can check out their brand new clip for 'Set Me Free' below, or buy/stream/download the tracks here: http://smarturl.it/holyrollercoasters
