"Worlds" (CAP CARTER) - NEW SINGLE REVIEW
SINGLE: Worlds // ARTIST: Cap Carter
Sydney singer-songwriter Cap Carter delves into swirling rumination with his latest dreamboat of a single 'Worlds'.
A project that grew to life following a band breakup, the loss of a friend and mental health battles, Cap Carter's heartfelt and emotive tones fluidly enthral and deliberate with hypnotic finesse and booming authenticity, seen most recently with his 2018 release 'Thrill' and his latest creation 'Worlds'.
Cleaving soulful vocals across urban beats and otherworldly textures, it's impossible not to get swept up in the immersive world Cap Carter has conjured with 'Worlds' - from cosmic twitches to the haunting refrain of "are we headed for the let down", there's bountiful moments of pop and indie rock juxtaposition that soars even further courtesy of some sparkling production.
Despite the melancholic backstory that led this enigmatic artist to fruition, there's a level of catharsis and triumphant release underlying 'Worlds', and it's ultimately a blissful step further into the next chapter for Cap Carter.
