SINGLE REVIEW: The Hills Have Eyes (JACK BIILMANN)

SINGLE: The Hills Have Eyes ARTIST: Jack Biilmann

The hills have chills and some pretty mad guitar licks courtesy of rising roots superstar Jack Biilmann and his snappy single 'The Hills Have Eyes'.

--

Already armed with a reputation as a fierce contender in the blues and roots scene, 'The Hills Have Eyes' marks the latest phase for this charming Canberran following his sophomore 2017 album 'STREAMS' - and the end result is a rootsy gem that pops and bops.

Summoning some John Butler vibes with his whimsical plucking and earnest rasp-soaked crooning, there's a whole lotta bliss exuding from Biilmann and his creation, and a significant step-up in tempo compared to some of his earlier tunes, as Biilmann explains: ”The Hills Have Eyes” is a kick in a new direction from me, I wanted to do something that had the elements with what make me who I am as an artist with a new twist. It’s sure to come as a bit of a surprise, but is still a very ‘Jack Biilmann’ sounding song."

Wherever this new chapter leads for Biilmann, 'The Hills Have Eyes' is a bubble of peace just waiting to bust out of your speakers, and if you're lucky you can catch the track live as Biilmann continues his 'The Hills Have Eyes' Tour. More info plus music vid below!
