SINGLE PREMIERE: Oh No (VON HAZELER)

GET IN LEGENDS, WE'RE GOING FULL BORE STRAIGHT BACK TO THE 90s, WITH SUNNY COAST TRIO VON HAZELER FIRMLY LEADING THE WAY VIA THEIR FUZZY DEBUT SINGLE OH NO DUE OUT NEXT WEEK - BUT YOU CAN KICKSTART YOUR JOURNEY EARLY, WITH THE SOUNDCHECK PROUDLY PREMIERING THE NEW TUNE RIGHT NOW!

Bringing together members from Sunshine Coast roots and rock icons The Floating Bridges, Von Hazeler are a trio extremely well-versed in cleaving earworms despite their newbie status in their latest musical phase. But in place of the roots, reggae and small army of band members from their previous adventures, Von Hazeler strips down to a punchy trio serving power chords, chunks of fuzz and 90s apathy, seen in delectable technicolour on their debut track Oh No.

Balancing the stylings of Jimmy (guitars), Jon (bass) and Cale (drums), Von Hazeler pour layers of potent production across their ode to getting lost when things don't quite go your way, balancing the dank undertones of 90s alternative rock with a fresh and lustrous twist. Also injecting some distinct Aussie flair to the charming grunge and wooze, Von Hazeler will get you yearning for the days of Cons, Homebake and CD collections, while leaving you wanting more from the Sunny Coast's latest alt rock offerings. Oh No officially unleashes next week; but to lead you into the weekend The Soundcheck is sharing a sneak peek below of the new tune. Go give it a spin!
