SINGLE REVIEW: Outta Love (KIM CHURCHILL)

SINGLE Outta Love // ARTIST Kim Churchill

Prepare to fall head over heels into the lush and lilting beauty awaiting on Kim Churchill's brand new track Outta Love that officially unveiled itself to the world today.

An artist well-versed in transporting his listeners into a world of intimate bliss and heartfelt dexterity, Kim Churchill continually weaves tales of a life spent on the road with a fresh folk twist, with a recent run of EPs offering a glimpse into various locales Kim has called home while conjuring his sparkling tunes. And with 2020 forcing a horde of artists to sit a little closer to home, it's perhaps fitting that Churchill's forthcoming third EP The End (from his eventual 4 EP Collection I Am Forgetting The End Again) was recorded in his home country, coming to life in the Blue Mountains; and today we catch a deeper look into what's to come from The End, with the EP's second single Outta Love spinning to life.

Once again showcasing Churchill's nimble writing and creamy vocals, Outta Love also warmly tackles some darker territory, detailing the pain and adversity that comes hand-in-hand with choosing to leave a close relationship. Coated in glimmering acoustic guitar and percolating melodics, Outta Love ultimately splashes Churchill's sunny disposition with searing honesty, offering a glistening haven for the trials and tribulations faced by most of us this year, whether relationship-wise or not.

Following on from the equally stunning single Nothing Nothing which dropped earlier this year, Outta Love is a tantalising breadcrumb in the lead-up to The End finding its way into the world - and you can go inject this charming track right now into your ears, go grab a listen below!
