VIDEO PREMIERE: For The Life Of Me (BEN CATLEY FEAT. ASH GRUNWALD)

STRIKING A DYNAMIC BALANCE BETWEEN BLAZING ROCK AND ROLLICKING ROOTS, BEN CATLEY'S LATEST TRACK FOR THE LIFE OF ME IS A VIGOROUS CELEBRATION OF EMPOWERMENT AND SNAPPY GLEE. FEATURING A KILLER SOLO FROM THE LEGENDARY ASH GRUNWALD, THE TRACK CONTINUES CATLEY'S EVOLUTION FROM THE ACOUSTIC REALMS TO ELECTRIC DELIGHTS, AND HIS UPCOMING ACCOMPANYING MUSIC VIDEO PERFECTLY CAPTURES THE POTENT ENERGY BURSTING AT THE SEAMS OF THIS TUNE - AND YOU CAN GRAB A SNEAK PEEK RIGHT NOW WITH THE SOUNDCHECK PROUDLY PREMIERING THE NEW CLIP TODAY!

An artist outrageously overflowing with energy and positivity, Ben Catley has cultivated significant attention for his zesty tunes and dynamic live performances since immersing himself in the Perth music scene for nearly 10 years. But from more acoustic roots (both sonically and stylistically), Catley has evolved over the years to incorporate more electronic grit into his catchy and charming stylings, with his latest track For The Life Of Me featuring Ash Grunwald emphatically showcasing his progression in brisk and breezy fashion.

With his latest track offering a jaunty anthem to self-belief amid sweaty verses and serene choruses, For The Life Of Me is a sublime melting pot of percussive temptations, gritty vocals and big ol' Stratocaster guitar licks that'll lure and lull you with its bold charm. And in a fitting case of art imitating life, the brand new clip for the track features Catley having a shred and a busting some splashy moves in a venue that is no stranger to the odd late night dance-off or two.

"For this release I wanted to show the evolution of my sound from acoustic guitars to electric. Some good friends of mine recently started a video production company, Halves and Quarters, so on a whim we jumped in a room and filmed a few fun scenes. We actually used a good mate of mine's 'Rave Cave'. He's got this sick fully blacked-out room under his house with some mad lighting and a smoke machine. It's seen a few epic late night dance-offs in there. Cheers Dingo! Although I'm mostly an acoustic artist, I try to make my show a pretty high energy party, so hopefully this video reflects that. And if you listen in the middle section, you'll hear a guitar solo from legend Ash Grunwald. I'm so stoked about having him on the track!" - Ben Catley

The perfect antidote to your lockdown blues and the frustrating state of the world right now, Catley's brand new music video will get your toes tappin' and have you reaching for the trusty air guitar (and potentially also inspire you to invest in some cracking lights to spice up your living room dance parties). Come for the good vibes, stay for the grit and lose yourself in the explosive mastery that is Ben Catley - go get a sneak peek at the new clip below before its official release!
