ARTIST: The Omnific
Trembling bliss takes on sonic form courtesy of Melbourne instrumental prog trio The Omnific and their brand new beauty of a track 'Erin'.
Produced by one of two of the trio's bassists Toby Peterson-Stewart, 'Erin' is a cosy and jangly offering, unfurling throaty bass and swirling textures with the clear-cut precision this lot have become increasingly infamous for.
Of the track, producer and bassist Toby explains: "The inspiration for 'Erin' came from being admitted to hospital and needing a creative outlet to cope with the stress and boredom. The story is entirely interpretive as the music can represent a variety of aspects in life."
Borne from boredom but by no means tedious, 'Erin' will ultimately entice you with its upbeat wiles, so do your ears and soul a favour and go give it a listen below. Plus! If you're fortunate enough to be Melbourne, Brisbane or Sunny Coast based you can catch this pearler live when The Omnific lads join prog banditos Osaka Punch and some exceptional locals kicking off in November.
