Some moments in life simultaneously make and break you, and one group who have captured the mixed passions that can go hand in hand with those milestones are Gold Coast indie pop duo Banks of the Beautiful and their brand new music video for their percolating new single 'Joy'.

Jumping off previous tracks including bouncy banger 'Favourite' and dreamy ballad 'Not Gonna Lie', 'Joy' finds Banks of the Beautiful (aka Lou Star and Andy Woollard) in a swirling cocoon of electro pop and breathy vocals while lyrically exploring life's big moments. "Whether it's leaving school, graduating uni, traveling, being in a relationship or having a baby, it just seems crazy that some of the biggest moments in life, you know, those that bring such intense joy or sense of achievement can break and save you at the same time," said Lou, who put her burgeoning music career, which included performances at the Big Day Out's Boiler Room, on hold to have her son.
With the debut BOTB album 'Unscheduled Departure' due out later this year and a nearly sold-out hometown launch show this weekend for 'Joy', this dynamic duo are just getting warmed up for the next step of this beautiful adventure.
