SINGLE REVIEW: Change (KG)

SINGLE: Change ARTIST: KG

The power of positivity and progression takes a smooth and fluid voyage courtesy of Canberra hip hop artist KG and his new track 'Change'.

It's little wonder that KG has increasingly found his powerful messages resonating with ears all over the country; a descendant of a real-life freedom fighter alongside Nelson Mandela, KG's innate sense of justice and equality is as authentic as it is engaging, and 'Change' picks up where his previous thumper of a track 'Black Boy' left off.

Dissecting oppression with a positive spin, 'Change' is an uplifting outing placing KG's silken, energetic flow across steadfast beats and a unifying message for people of all races and backgrounds, as KG explains: " 'Change’ is about inspiring social change in our community for everyone. Also, by doing one thing to help someone disadvantaged is better than doing nothing at all. The song is designed for the everyday person struggling and how they can overcome life struggles by making a change in their lives.”

Ultimately, KG has not only broadened his sound with 'Change' - he's also emerged with a unified message that simultaneously challenges the industry while showcasing his serious flair for crafting socially conscious earworms.

'Change' is out and about in all the usual musical haunts, plus you can check out the accompanying clip with the man himself in a starring role. Video and more below.
