Like a punked-up shooting star coated with razor-sharp charm and shimmering flair, Sydney quartet Yours Truly have entranced ears and hearts around the globe in an insanely short space of time, seamlessly carving up 7+ million streams on their 2019 EP Afterglow alongside live appearances at Download UK, Riot Fest, Good Things and beyond. And while a sizeable bounty of success has been cleaved in their musical wake, the monumental success Yours Truly have commanded is made even more impressive with the reality that the group were just barely out of high school when they first hit the scene a few short years ago; as well as the fact they're just this year poised on the release of a debut full-length album.
Brandishing infectious pop know-how with a jagged underbelly, Yours Truly heralded a compelling pop punk renaissance with their previous outings full of glossy sass and bodacious grit. But as the group creep closer to the release of their sensational debut album Self Care next month, the true might of Yours Truly sits poised to categorically shatter expectations and catapult this bunch even further as true heroes of the modern alternative music realm.
