Attention bands, artists and music movers-and-shakers of Australia: for the fourth year in a row Australian Music Week will be bringing the noise and some solid industry star-power to the chilled shores of Cronulla in November - and as of this week the team have opened artist showcase applications for the 2018 music conference.

Taking place over five days, Australian Music Week boasts 150+ performances from every genre under the sun, and also incorporates panels and conferences addressing industry issues with leading Aussie and international leaders.
With its unique charm of remaining a relatively intimate event, Australian Music Week allows for artists and industry to connect on-the-ground, and it has certainly proven itself as a significant springboard for artists; previous editions have seen artists like Ruby Fields, Hein Cooper, Skeggs, The Audreys and many, many more pick up international tours, major festival placements, record and distribution deals, international touring and showcasing opportunities.
Scouting the world to bring in top-notch talent buyers, from festival directors to record labels, radio pluggers and management, Australian Music Week director, Geoff Trio said the team is more excited than ever to open this year's applications for showcasing artists:
"As well as bringing in representatives from Australia's leading festivals and organisations, we have brokered powerful partnerships with a number of international events who will come to Australian Music Week to discover acts for launching into markets like North America, Asia and Europe. The opportunities are real and so are the great results we're seeing grow year on year."
