Declaring a second and final list of showcasing artists that will make the staunchest homebody develop a severe case of FOMO, BIGSOUND 2019 has now unleashed their lineup of tomorrow's superstars, with the final announcement of bands and artists rounding out the 147-strong lineup stacked to storm stages in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley Live Music precinct this September.
Firmly marking its place as Australia's biggest new music event, BIGSOUND has increasingly proven itself as a launchpad for local and emerging bands, claiming bragging rights for launching the international careers of previous alumni, including Flume, Courtney Barnett, RUFUS, Tash Sultana, The Jezebels, Middle Kids, Gang of Youths, DMAs, The Temper Trap and so many more.
Spanning across 18 official venues this September 3-6, BIGSOUND acts as part musical speed-dating, part mega-festival and part music schoolies as industry leaders, scouts and fans from all over the world converge on The Valley to discover live music and catch a glimpse of some of tomorrow's superstars.
With the second and final round of artists boasting the likes of Mojo Juju, Japanese Wallpaper, These New South Whales, Redhook and more, you can be sure this is going to be a BIGSOUND to remember. And accompanying the latest artist announcement is the official unveiling of the venues playing host to some of our incredible emerging talent, including the intimate rooms of Black Bear Lodge, main stages at The Zoo and Crowbar, world-class outdoor stages at The Valley Drive In and The Elephant Hotel - and brand newbie The Outpost, which will open its doors officially next week within The Fortitude Music Hall.
